Marc Meneau, the son of a peasant and a saddler from the village of St Père, with a deep love of his historical native land. Planted vineyard history around the hill of Vézelay with the grape varieties of Pinot and Chardonnay.
He produces some 20,000 to 30,000 bottles of his impressive appellation, Bourgogne Vézelay, drunk as an aperitif, which is sold to restaurateurs and traded to wine specialists in his shop at L’Espérance.
